How to Care for Your Lingerie
Cold Hand Wash Only
Truth or Dare Intimates pieces are too delicate for regular machine washing. For best longevity, gently hand wash your lingerie in cool water using a mild detergent or gentle soap. Avoid washing machines whenever possible, as underwires, lace, and embellishments can be damaged or weakened.
Wash With Like Colors
Always wash similar colors together. Dark or richly colored pieces may release excess dye during the first few washes, which can transfer onto lighter garments if washed together.
Do Not Soak
Do not soak your lingerie before or after washing. Extended soaking can cause colors to fade, bleed, or transfer and may weaken delicate fabrics.
Do Not Tumble Dry
Dryers are too harsh for delicate lingerie. Heat can damage lace, elastic, and detailing so keep your pieces far away from the dryer.
Dry Flat in the Shade
Lay your lingerie flat on a clean towel and allow it to air dry in the shade. Hanging lingerie can stretch elastics and distort the shape over time.
Do Not Bleach
Bleach will damage lace, fabrics, and trims and may cause uneven discoloration. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals at all times.

Every Truth or Dare Intimates order includes a complimentary mesh laundry bag to help protect your delicate pieces. Use it to safely store your lingerie in your drawer, preventing snags, stretching, or catching on hooks. Proper storage is just as important as proper washing.

Extra Care Tips We Love
- Always fasten bra or bralette clasps before washing to prevent snagging or tearing.
- Short on time? You can gently wash your lingerie in the shower using mild soap.
- For styles with metallic embroidery or glitter details, avoid fully saturating embellished areas focus on gently cleansing the gusset, cups, and straps.
- If hand washing isn’t possible, place your lingerie in the provided mesh bag and wash on a gentle, cool cycle for no more than 15 minutes. Use discretion washing machines vary, and damage caused by improper care is not our responsibility.
